The borrowers for the subject property required a rate locked 9 months in advance of when the existing loan could be paid off. Barry Slatt Mortgage identified a correspondent Insurance Company lender to lock in an aggressive 20 year fully amortized fixed rate to win this deal.
Many of the Insurance Companies that Barry Slatt Mortgage represents offer “forward commitments” where interest rates can be locked up to one year in advance of loan funding.
