Alex comes to Barry Slatt Mortgagewith over 15 years of Retail and Commercial Banking Experience and has been instrumental in growing the Los Angeles Office. In his first year out of the gate he closed over $37MM in commercial fundings and has continued to increase his stable of satisfied, loyal clients ever since. He is at ease placing highly structured transactions with our numerous Life Insurance Correspondents, Secondary, Bank, and Private lenders alike. Prior to joining the company, he held positions in Retail Banking where he won numerous awards for his Management and Sales achievements, as well as in Commercial Lending originations – most recently with Bank of Hemet, where he first served The Barry Slatt Mortgage Co. in a client capacity before accepting their offer to join the company. He received his education from UCLA majoring in Real Estate Finance, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Los Angeles Mortgage Association (LAMA), and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). He is also a frequent public speaker for numerous Real Estate Trade Groups. In his free time he writes, trains in various martial arts disciplines and travels extensively.
