Barry Weinstock joins the Barry S. Slatt Mortgage Company as Vice Chairman after heading his own Mortgage Banking firm for over 35 years. In that time, he has originated and overseen several billion dollars of loan placements on a variety of property types including industrial buildings, shopping centers, office and medical buildings, multifamily and special purpose properties. Mr. Weinstock is a licensed real estate broker and also has an appraisal and loan closing background. Barry is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA), Los Angeles Mortgage Association (LAMA), and California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA). Mr. Weinstock is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and has taught classes on the UCLA Extension program. Barry is on the Board of Governors of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center and is a member of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee for the Pacific Coast League of Professional Baseball Clubs. He and his wife reside in West Los Angeles.
