Simon V. Wong, born and raised in San Francisco, California, has been with the Barry S. Slatt Mortgage Company since 2003. During his tenure at the Barry S. Slatt Mortgage Company, Simon has been involved with the origination of over $1.59 Billion in transactions on property types ranging from anchored/shadow anchored shopping centers, retail, office, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, self-storage, mobile home parks, healthcare, restaurants and other special-use properties located nationwide. He has structured, analyzed, originated, and closed an array of fixed and floating-rate debt placed through Life Insurance Companies, Conduits (Wall Street), Banks, Thrifts, Credit Unions, Private Equity, and Agency lenders.


Simon is an active member of several real estate organizations, including: California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA), the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Bay Area Mortgage Association (BAMA), San Francisco Apartment Association (SFAA), the Chinese American Real Estate Association (CAREA), California Apartment Association: Tri-County, San Francisco Real Estate Exchange (SF|REX), and The Belden Club. Outside his trade organizations, Simon is involved with a handful of charity institutions and a member of the President’s Club at St. Mary’s College of California. Most recently, Simon has been accepted as a member of The Guardsmen.

Simon Wong graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, CA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with his emphasis in Finance and International Business, and a minor in Economics (UC Santa Barbara). As a second generation San Franciscan and commercial real estate owner in the Bay Area, Simon is intimately familiar with the Northern Californian real estate market. As a Chinese-born American he has extensive experience in working closely with the Chinese community.
