Slow Start for CMBS in 2016

The first look at the pipeline indicates that U.S. commercial MBS issuance will get off to a relatively slow start. Some $12.2 billion of transactions are scheduled for January and February, according to a survey by Commercial Mortgage Alert. That’s down from $16.9 billion a year earlier, although more transactions may still be added.
