Barrett Smith is an Analyst at Slatt Capital, where he supports the financing process across underwriting, market research, loan sizing, property inspections, term sheet negotiation and closing. Prior to joining Slatt Capital, he gained hands-on experience through private equity commercial real estate internships in San Diego, and real estate sales experience with Compass as a residential agent.
Outside of work, you'll find Barrett on the golf course, playing guitar, or spending time with his dog.
Barrett remains an active member of the Developing Leaders programs at both CREDA San Diego and the Urban Land Institute, continuing to build his network and expertise within the local real estate community.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from San Diego State University, where he served as Programs Director for the Real Estate Society and completed the NAIOP University Challenge.
