Ava joined Slatt Capital with over 25 years of commercial real estate experience. Starting with a 12-year background in banking, Ava was a general commercial real estate appraiser with Security Pacific National Bank later Bank of America, who focused on the valuation of subdivisions, office buildings, retail, and industrial within the Greater Bay Area, Sacramento, and Fresno. She subsequently joined Bank of California (now Union Bank) to manage the office operations of the Bank’s Real Estate Appraisal Department. In her role, she managed budget and salary allocation, HR compliance, and all administrative staff within the department’s 4 offices.
Ava transitioned from the banking industry when she later joined Cohen Financial first as a property manager then later as a commercial loan closing manager for the company’s West Coast offices. With over 17 years of commercial real estate closing experience, Ava joined Slatt Capital in December 2017.
